Common questions

How do I get the latest test build?

Open TestFlight on your iPhone, select Earth — A New Home, and install the available update. You need an invitation to join testing. A new build may not appear until Apple finishes processing or the required external review.

How do I resume my journey?

Open the game and choose Continue when saved progress is available. Progress is stored locally on your device. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting, as that can remove your local save.

How do the released v0.3 (10) launch controls work?

Press Launch, slide up or down to set thrust, then release to launch. Holding still does not add thrust. Return to zero before releasing to cancel. Earth keeps rotating while you aim. During flight, hold IN FLIGHT to fast-forward and release to return to normal speed.

How do the v0.3 build 11 controls work?

In build 11, drag the separate thrust handle, lift your finger to keep the setting, then tap Launch. Releasing the handle never launches. Hold the dedicated fast-forward button in the bottom-right corner while aiming or flying. Gold diamond labels identify mission destinations, and a translucent planet marks its future position. Human arrivals have a welcome chime; an alarm warns when descending too fast near the ground. Check the build number in the game menu; older build 10 uses the controls described above.

A launch or landing feels too difficult.

Try Relaxed difficulty in Settings. When reporting a difficult route, include the departure world, destination, rocket, cargo, and a screenshot or recording of the trajectory guide. These details help us reproduce the same flight.

The game crashed or became unresponsive.

Close and reopen the game, then check TestFlight for an update. If it happens again, email the steps leading up to the problem and your device and build details. A screenshot or short recording can help.

Do I need an account to play?

The game does not require an account or sign-in. TestFlight invitations are managed separately by Apple.
